last fri/sat we travelled to bham for a number of reasons ... helped host a baby shower for a sweet friend at my old firm (the boys went with me and had a good time seeing everyone), a family cookout, a visit with gary's mom and jon, and for adorable dorothy's, I mean madeline's, third birthday. it was a busy (but great) trip and we weren't able to visit everyone we wanted to (sorry we missed you Granny; Heather & Georgia; and others!), but there's always next time.

the party was at pump it up, a bouncy/inflatable place. everyone had a blast, parents included! this big slide was fantastic.
