wonderful week

what better way to spend a week than with dear friends that we only see once or twice a year! sue, adam and her mom came to visit last week and we had a wonderful time. in fact, I'm sad as I write this because I wish we lived closer (and have said/thought this a million times in the thirty years we have been friends!). thanks for make the trek down to the loveliest village!

our moms became friends when they were pregnant with us. here we all are!

and we wore them out with all the little ones!

adam LOVED the hose. henry LOVED to be the squirter.

"hey adam, how am I doing watering this guy?"

"well henry, I think you could water a little more to the left ..."

adam also loved this putty knife. a hose, a putty knife and a dump truck. what more do you need?

henry cooked up an auburn special for our visitors ...

daddy jim met adam and of course made him laugh. we all enjoyed lunch at momma g's, our favorite place.
