christmas 2010

stockings were hung by the chimney with care ... st. nicholas was surely there, in so many ways.

unwrapped gifts from santa ... most for others. you've heard it before and will hear it again, this season is not about gifts and things. I am so glad to be able to spend it with family and friends. LOVE is the term of endearment that follows this season, but every day. God loved us enough to send his Son. He loved our family enough to keep it together this year.
He was filled with love, His cup overflows. And Gary, well his cup overflows too.
he sets the loving tone in our household.

we had to wake owen up (below).
henry loved his train!
(note: this was him before his few hours of not being filled with love)
brothers gotta hug ...
owen enjoying the bath toy from the perlins. he LOVES anything with balls!
and the door ... this is classic owen. I love the below photo.
and the door appeals to all ages!

we had a wonderful visit with all of our families. it was perfect! it even snowed here on christmas day ... first time in over 100 years.
as I love the snow, this was one of my favorite gifts!
owen, henry and elizabeth. love the cousins!
I could write many a paragraph about Christmas, what we did, what it meant.
magical. memorable. magnificent. meaningful.
It was truly so nice and we all had a lovely time.
