a peek at henry's calendar tells us that it was the day for the BCS National Championship Game. excitement was abound. how we, the entire Auburn family, had waited. how we had heard this. how we had heard that. how we had matched up these two teams in our heads. in words. how we, the entire Auburn family, believed.
yes, in one sense it is "just football" and "just a game." in another sense it is much, much more than that. cannot be described on this blog, in a newspaper, online, you name it.the auburn family is family every day of the year. every day. being national champions is just icing on the already wonderful cake.
war eagle! what a game. both teams played well. it was an emotionally exciting game for a littany of reasons. go big blue!
